EMMA THE FLANDRIEN

The Tour of Qatar finished yesterday, with Emma on a 4th place in the general classification. For Emma it has been a week of dusty roads and sand, but in Vlaanderen they wait for her to return back on the “cobbles”. Now she will focus on Belgium and the spring classics.
Yesterday Emma was selected as “Sport woman of the year” in her home town in Belgium, Zingem!
– I’m happy to receive this price. It tells me that I’m a part of Zingem and Belgium, where I spend most of my time of the year. Now I look forward to come home to Belgium.

“Visit Flanders” just lunched their new campaign and Emma is one of their ambassadors. If you planning to visit Flanders you can find a lot of nice information on their site and see what Emma likes about Belgium. Take a look at the move they made and start dream about the coming cycling season.

– This movie shows why I like it here in Vlaanderen. I hope that after the Belgium classics I will be seen as an “echte Flandrien”!
